Seeing things beyond this realm is definitely, a
mystery. However, differentiating it from hallucination should be clear. Some
people claiming that they can see ghost, spirit, elemental and concluded that
they had an opened third eye.
But, what if these things they are seeing are just plain
hallucination? How could, or should we distinguish mystery to delusion?
My client, Terry (not her real name) consulted me concerning her
experience. She is now being bothered by strange voices uttering into her ears. These
voices, according to Terry, is arguing and talking nasty things about
her.
Terry also claimed that she is seeing a beautiful lady,
clothed in very bright dress. This lady is just standing outside and will vanish.
Sound strange, isn't? But does Minda really have an active
third eye?
As I go thorough investigation of her background, I've
learned that Minda is suffering for a mild depression that obligated her to
take some medications. This compels that Minda is just experiencing delusion.
But here is the catch—although Minda is really experiencing
delusion due to her medications—creatures and things beyond this realm could
only be reach through tranquility (relaxed state of mind). Medication, indeed,
caused Minda’s brain to relax. Could it be possible that Minda’s experience are
real as medicines could forcibly—and temporarily—opened her “third eye”?
Fantasy and reality should be separated, but it can be one.
It is up to the person to decide.
